1st day of school

HoOrAy!!
Today is the first day of school. Brandon started 3rd grade and Isaac started kindergarten. They were both very excited but also very nervous. On the way out the door this morning Maycee grabbed her backpack and said that she was going to school too. She was very sad when we dropped the boys off and she had to come home with me. We are all excited for a new school year and lots of new learning!

Isaac's trip to the dentist

A couple weeks ago Isaac went to the dentist and we found out that he has 8 cavaties! Yikes! I promise he does brush his teeth. The dentist suggested doing it under sedation so we can get it all done at once and so that it isn't very tramatic for him. Today was the day he had the cavaties filled. Everything went well. When Isaac was trying to wake up he was hillarious. He kept trying to get up and walk (he was so dizzy he couldn't even hold his head up) I kept asking him "where are you trying to go?" He said that he was going to Iceburg...I guess he felt like a hambgurger! He probably was starving...he couldn't eat for 4 hours before. I also thought it was cute that one of the first things he said was "I miss Brandon...can I go home now!" Isaac was really sleepy the rest of the day but I think I am glad we got that over with.

HaPpy BiRthDaY KeVin!

Yesterday was Kevin's Birthday. It started out with presents and celebrating with the kids and I. Then we went to church and Kevin had to teach Sunday School (bummer on your birhtday). We came home and got ready for Kevin's parents and my family to come up for dinner. Kevin likes carrot cake and since it was his birthday I thought it was time that I learned how to make one and so I did. Kevin said it was good...I still perfer Chocolate cake but the carrot was good also. We had a yummy dinner and nice time visiting with everyone.

Maycee's New Earrings!

Yes, check out the cute little flower earings in Maycee's ears. She got her ears pierced this weekend. She is always into jewlery and lately has been playing with my earings alot so on Saturday I told Kev that I was taking her to the mall to get her ears pierced and he said "okay". He usually tells me NO so when I heard the okay I jumped in the car and went up there before he could change his mind. Maycee loves her new earrings. She woke up last night at 2AM and came into our room to show us her new earrings again. What a cute girl!

Happy Birthday Isaac

Yesterday was Isaac's 6th birthday. We started off the day with a "candle in a waffle" breakfast. Isaac is totally into iron man and so I made an iron man cake. We then headed to boondocks to play. Isaac loved...loved...loved the bumper boats. Mostly he liked squirting people. He laughed and giggled the whole time and then we headed to Grandma Jo's to open some presents and have cake and icecream. Isaac got lots of toys...mostly weapons...and was the happiest boy on earth.
