Christmas Day 2011

Merry Christmas 2011. This pictures shows the chaos and the smiles on everyones faces christmas morning.
He doesn't look very happy...does he!

The boys both got new bikes, some legos and a nerf gun. Brandon said the ony thing that he wanted that he didn't get was a chocolate orange. :) With the boys getting new bikes we have planned a little trip in February (somewhere warm) where we can take the bikes and ride our little hearts out.

Maycee got a "tooth brush" baby, a snow white doll, baby highchair and a new bike.
Jake loves this elmo rocks toy. He loves to dance and laugh when elmo dances and sings. Did I mention that I bought this for only $13.00 (reg. around $50). I love me a good deal. Jake also got a cute toy lawnmower that he can push around. We train them when they are young. :)

Christmas Eve Nativity 2011

On Christmas Eve we always do the nativity. Here is the group pic. Sorry for the glare on the fireplace. What a cute bunch!
Joseph and Mary (snow white version-she insisted on wearing her snow white dress). Uncle matt (with his long hair) looks more like Jesus than Joseph :)
The Sheep. Kevin loved being a sheep but Jake not so much :)
cutest wiseman ever

Maycee's Joyschool Christmas Program

Maycee's joyschool had a Christms Program. We have 7 cute little kids and they came out in santa hats and sang some Christmas songs. They were so cute and most of them actually sang. Next we decorated some graham cracker-ginger breadhouses and then had some christmas colored popcorn.

Rudd Christmas Bowling/Pizza/Santa Party

Jake actually was interested in pushing the ball
I guess bowling wore him out

2011 Reese Christmas Grinch Party

This year we had a Grinch Christmas party and Gram and papa's house. The kids had "grinch-meals" (aka Happy Meals) and played games. Gram gave the kids new jammies and grinches and then they all watched How the the grinch stole christmas. Our fun night ended with a big sleepover for all the grankids. I am not sure if any of them slept...I went home with jake! What a fun night.

Grandpa always reads us a christmas story. Here we are listening to the story. This year he read "Christmas Day in the morning".

Christmas 2011 Dance Recital

Today was Maycee's Christmas Dance Recital. We spent the day doing hair, painting nails and putting on make up. She was so excited to dance.
Check out those eyelashes. They are longer than mine and it was so fun to put mascara on them.
Maycee knew everystep to her dance, however, she got a little stage fright and didn't dance one step. Here is a cute helper girl trying to get her to dance and Maycee just gave her a crusty.
After the recital was over and she had her flowers she was happy!

Jakey by the Christmas Tree

I just can't get enough of this cute little guy. He likes to wave hello and goodbye. He loves it when his brothers chase him and he tries to run away. He loves the bath and to run his hands threw my hair when I hold him.

Is he old enough...

coversation the other night between Brandon (9 years old) and me:
Brandon: Mom, this girl at school keeps asking me to go out.
Me: What does "to go out" mean?
Brandon: MOOOMMMM (rolling his eyes at me)
Me: Does it mean that she likes you?
Brandon: Ya, I think so
Me: Well, do you like her?
Brandon: No...she swears!
Me: What do you tell her when she asks you?
Brandon: No
Me: Just tell her that you don't want a girlfriend, besides your too young anyway. Please don't be mean and hurt her feelings.
Brandon: OK
Note to Brandon's future wife: Don't swear :)
