Brandon was on his white board writing numbers. He started wanting to write the name of the number(like twelve) instead of just the number (12). I was on the computer, probably blogging, and he came to ask me if he had spelled twenty-six correct.
Here is how my cute 5 year old spelled it tuante sex!

Visit from Santa
Well, at the annual Rudd Christmas party Santa made his regular visit. Brandon was sure that he did not want to sit on his lap but with a little begging and bribing by mom he did. So, somehow Kevin got out of sitting on Santa's lap (that's why I don't have a picture of him). That is the craziest thing because Grandma Rudd never lets anyone not sit on Santa's lap...even Grandpa has to. I was not there for the converstation between Grandma and Kevin about sitting on Santa's lap but maybe it was a good thing I wasn't there...don't worry Kevin will be getting some coal in his stalking. Oh but don't worry...FAT, PREGNANT Jamie has a picture of her on Santa's lap!

"Vegetable of the the Trees"
Yesterday we went to the Festivle of the Trees at the south town expo center. Brandon kept calling it the "vegetable of the trees" so now that is what we all call it. Anyways, they had some amazing trees and we took pictures of some of our favorites. After we walked across the street and had lunch at the Mayan. Overall a very fun day!

Christmas Trains
One of Kevin's family traditions is every year at Christmas time we get together and make Christmas trains. We use candy bars for the train and decorate with every kind of candy you could imagine. We are together will our cousins and lots and lots of sugar...what fun! This year Brandon was very much into decorating his train. He did the whole thing by himself and it took him about an hour. Isaac, on the other hand, took 5 minutes and then all he wanted to do was eat the candy.

Goodbye Pumpkin
So yesterday, Halloween is over and I decided that the pumpkins are ready to be thrown away (plus it's garbage day). I told Brandon to get his pumpkin and throw it away and for some reason he was really attatched to this pumpkin. He started to cry! He said that he loved his pumpkin so much and didn't want to throw it away. He proceeded to sit on the front step and cry. I tried to explain that pumpkins don't last forever and we can get a new one next year...eventually he hesitantly threw his pumpkin away. Isaac on the other hand want to destroy his and cut it up into tiny little pieces ( a little bit dark for a three year old) Anyway, after we got the pumpkins thrown away I came back inside to find Brandon in his room writing a note to his pumpkin. He asked me if he spelled it right. GBie (good bye) Pcin (pumpkin). I said close enough...it was so cute he had written a note for his long lost pumpkin all by himself, sounding out the letters and everything.

Halloween 2007
This was a fun halloween for us...in our new house, our new neighborhood and the kids old enough to really get what trick-or-treating was all about. We had a church trunk or treat that the kids really enjoyed and got lots of candy ( I alrealy picked out all my favorites...they will never know)! Isaac was Yoda, whom he thinks he is even without the cute costume (thanks Jenn). Brandon was a Dragon Ninja...I think thats what it is called....all he said was that he wanted to be something scary, not cute like mom suggested, so I think he looks pretty scary for a five year old.

Weekend in Las Vegas
We went to Las Vegas this past weekend to visit Jenn, Shawn, Ethan, Cole and Olivia.

The four boys thought it was a good idea to have a big sleepover...NOT A GOOD IDEA!

Of course we had to have one big bubble bath...Four boys in a tub!

The main reason we all went down to Las Vegas was so myself, my two sisters and my mom could all go to the Celine Dion concert at Ceasers Palace. It was one of the most entertaining shows I have seen. Even if you don't like Celine Dion (my husband who thinks she can't dance) you would still enjoy this show...there is so much other stuff going on.

Don't look to close to this picture, I really don't like it ...yes, I am pregnant not just fat!

Brandon's last soccer game
Brandon just finished the fall soccer season. One of the mom's made a banner and the kids all ran through it on the last game. Then, of course, this team of 5 year olds ripped the banner to pieces. We could have all gone home after that and not even watched the game....the kids had a blast! Oh ya, Brandon also decided that he likes to play goalie...I think the goalie shirt is just a little big.

Funny story...
Well, I don't have any picture to go along with this (thank goodness) so I will just blog...On Sunday I was at church and I had taken Isaac to go potty. I also needed to go potty so we took turns and as you know I am 5 months pregnant and so my body is getting bigger, anyways, I sat down on the potty and Isaac said (very loudly) "Mommy, your butt is fat, it hangs over the edge!". First I laughed my head off (so did the 2 ladies standing out in line waiting their turn) and then I replied, "yes, you are right". It's amazing how 3 year olds can say the darndest things. When we were all done I was a little embarassed to come out of the stall. I thought the other two ladies might want to see my fat butt. The ladies were still giggling and so was I.
