Isaac Indoor Soccer

With both the boys playing indoor soccer, Kevin and I spend a lot of time at the indoor soccer field. It's usually our "romantic" Friday night date. Tonight was Isaacs game againt a La Roca team. The game was intense and Isaac's team won 2-1. This picture shows Isaacs feelings about soccer. He's in it to win it! I love the intensity in his face.

Maycee is 5

Maycee woke up on her birthday to have her family sing happy birhtday to her, with a candle in her french toast sticks, and daddy on the phone (he had already left for work) Her brothers could hardly wait for her to open her presents. Maycee got a new brave costume I made a Brave Cake! She invited her 3 closest cousins over for a teaparty. They laughed and giggled the whole time. Later that night we had our grandparents come over to open presents and have cake and ice cream. All Maycee wanted for her birthday was a robe and slippers. I don't know where she got this idea from because I don't have a robe. Of course she got a robe and she slept in it that night and then put it over her clothes when she got dressed in the morning. She was a little dissapointed when I told her that she couldn't wear her robe to school. When I asked how it felt to be 5, Maycee replied "way different Mom!"

Blue and Gold Banquet 2013

We had a great Blue and Gold Banquet last night. The whole family went (Jake was there but there are no pictures of him, or kevin-who was chasing Jake). Isaac earned his bobcat and he had to stand up in front of everyone and I got to paint his face. Isaac was pretty embarrased and then he found out that he got to paint my face, just a little, and was happy. Brandon has been working hard and earned his Weblow (but he will get that next time) and his mathmatics belt loop and another pin...I forgot the name :)

Science Fair 2013

Isaac and Brandon participated in the science fair at school. They both learned a lot about the topic they chose. Isaac wanted to learn about archery and how fast you could shoot a bow and arrow. Brandon did an experiement about which water would freeze fastest, fresh water or salt water.
