Joyschool class picture

I have been wanting to post this darling picture I got from Ashlee of our joyschool kids. Eight boys...oh what fun! You can total see all the personality in each of the boys.

Maycee's 7 month pictures!

Isn't she a babe. Okay so she wasn't thrilled about getting her pictures taken. The camera lady scared her to death and so she would not smile. These pictures are cute but she is much cuter in person.

Tagged again....

Here goes another tag...
Six random unspectacular quirks about me
1. I always have a bowl of ice cream before bed. I have done this for a long time and so it is a bad habbit. Kevin and Isaac don't really like ice cream but Brandon will have a bowl with me everynight.
2. I have "webbed" toes. Some of you may have witnessed this crazy thing. Only two of my toes are webbed on both feet. All the girls in my family got the webbed toe thing. I was anxious to see Maycee's toes when she was born, but she got Kevin's feet...no webbed toes.
3. I love the food network channel. Kevin calls it the most boring channel in the world but I could sit all day long and watch all the cooking shows.
4. I hate to dust. I think it is a waste of time because 2 minutes later it all needs to be dusted again. I don't usually dust unless Kevin begs me enough and then I usually call him at work and tell him to hurry home if he wants to see the house dusted.
5. When I am driving I having an issue with getting off the exit. I have anxiety about missing my exit or being in the wrong lane and not being able to exit when I want to. I get in the outside lane 2 or 3 miles ahead of my exit and just sit there behind all the slow cars to ensure that I wont miss my exit. When I ride with Kevin he waits until the last minute to exit just to make me crazy...he thinks it is funny!
6. I secretly wish I could be a singer and dancer. When I was young I would go to music USA at Lagoon with my family and wish that I was one of the performers. I sing and dance only when I am alone.

Oh a fishing we will go.....

So Kevin's boss, Gary, had this great idea to go fishing. We planned a date and got ready to go. I went to check Brandon out of school early so we could get up to Silver Lake and fish before it got too dark. I was checking him out of the office and they ask the REASON. So I stumbled for an answer and then said "family emergency". Right....then they would not ask any more questions. I don't know why I felt funny about telling them that my son is leaving school to go fishing. Anyways, then we go to Brandon's class to get him. I walk in the door and he jumps up and says, yaaaa I am going fishing. I was busted in my little white lie of a "family emergency". Oh well...I laughed to myself. We got in the van and headed to the Lake. Oh yes, we stopped by Gary and Marilyns house to get stuff ready and played in their grandma room...full of every toy a child could ever dream of. Next we drove up to silver lake. Did I mention that it was absolutely beautiful up there. We started fishing and caught our first fish within the first 30 minutes we were there. The kids were so excited. Brandon asked Gary if we would put it back in the water and Gary said, "No, we are going to eat it." You should have seen the look on Brandon's face. He said "No, I am not going to eat it." We kept fishing for a while longer and got teased by the fish, they would bite and then sneak away before we could wheel them in. It didn't matter because the boys had a blast. Brandon sat there watching his pole for any movement like an old fishing pro. It started to get cold and so we had to call it a night but WOW what a fun thing. We definately will try it again.

Isaac Tiny Tots Soccer

Well Tiny Tots Soccer has started and Isaac is loving it. He has watched many soccer games and he has patiently waited until it was his turn to play. He totally knows how to play and he does circles around the other kids...he is the oldest in the bunch...but still he is AWESOME! I will try to get a video to post but for now here are a few pictures. By the way, did I mention that I am his coach...YA ME!

Isaac's 1st day of preschool

Yes, he is the cutest preschooler ever. He is doing 2 preschools this year. One is a joyschool with some neighbors and the other is a 4 year old preschool 3 days a week. This was his first day at the other preschool. It was the first time I have left him alone at preschool. As I was leaving he told me to be brave...aren't I the one who is supposed to tell him to be brave? He was very excited. He has watched us drop Brandon off for school for a couple of years now and so he thinks it is great for it to be his turn.
