Boys Birthday Party

We had a Friend Birthday party for both the boys today. They each got to invite 5 friends and we went to Skywalker Haven. It's a trampoline park. They boys played hard and had fun. They jumped for a while and then we had cupcakes and ice cream with fun toppings. 12 boys are LOUD and MESSY but lots of FUN! The boys got some fun presents but the last present from Mom and Dad was a surprise...ipods. They really wanted them but thought we would never buy one for them. I loved their faces when they opened them.

Maycee's 2nd round of stitches

Maycee took a nasty crash on her bike. She was trying to ride fast like her brothers and crashed big time. The only scratch she had on her body was her chin. I guess she just bounced on her chin. :) I can't figure out how come her hands and knees don't have road rash all over them. One look at it and I knew she needed stitches. Off to insta care we went. They were so quick and efficient we were in and out of there in 30 minutes. Four stitches later and one sucker and Maycee was happy to be going home. These stitches are right next to her scar from the stitches she got on her chin when she was 3.

Brandon is 11

Brandon is 11. He is growing up so fast. He loves to play soccer, tease his brothers and sister and play growtopia on the Ipad. He has lots of new friends and is excited to be a 6th grader. Brandon is a hard worker and likes to have fun. He has been mowing the back lawn for a couple summers but this year he has been promoted to front yard also. That's a big deal at this house. He is taking after his dad and mowing the lawn with straight lines ( I don't even do that). His favorite soccer player is Lionel Messi and so we made his birthday cake of his jersey. It's not perfect but Brandon liked it. Brandon choose Iggys to do go dinner that night. He gets to have a friend party this year but we are doing that next Tuesday (pics to come).

Brandon's Arrow of light

Brandon has worked really hard and received his arrow of light award. Now that he has turned 11 he has officially graduated from cub scouts and is onto boy scouts.
