Thorny Devil Lizard

Yes, this is a Thorny Devil Lizard (No mom...it's not a Horny Devil Lizard :). Brandon chose this lizard for his 3rd grade animal report. He had to write a typed report, do a diorama and present an oral report. Here is the diorama. Brandon made this lizard out of clay and then we baked it. he worked so hard to get it just right. He also made some clay ants....they kinda look like little poops but that is because we haven't glued the ant legs on....they will look more like ants soon. Anyways, Brandon has loved this project and is so excited to take it to school. He was so excited that Kevin was going to Moab (on a biking trip) so that he could bring home some real red sand to use. I am so proud of B for working so hard....we think it turned out great.

Boys Late Night!!!

We decided that with Kevin gone scuba diving that he wasn't the only one who was going to have a fun weekend. The boys each had 2 friends over and we had a late night. We ate pizza, made brownies, watched Megamind and played Uno. We love having these great friends for the boys. They are good kids and they always have so much fun together.

Kevy's Scuba

Kevin has been training to be scuba certified with the young men in our ward. This was him the night before his open water dive. The kids and I wanted to see what he looked like as a scuba man. The more I learn about scuba diving the more I realize that I am too claustrophobic to scuba dive...I am sure I would freak out!

Nunchucks!!!

Brandon has been working really hard on earning this nunchuck patch in karate. He had to learn a routine and pass it off without making any mistakes. He did it!!! Here is the new patch that goes on his uniform.
