Brandon's creative project

Brandon has been wanting to make an airplane. We found some pictures online and he began collecting the supplies he would need. After much hard work.....here is the finished project!

Farmington Canyon

We have been sick at our house and so we have stayed home for 2 days and everyone was starting to get a little cabin fever. We decided to take a little drive up Farmington Canyon in between conference sessions. The leaves were beautiful and we enjoyed walking around in the fresh air. We tried to take some family pictures with our self-timer and that was fun. We had a nice time and it helped us all get over our cabin fever.

Brandon's Soccer

I took some pictures at Brandon's soccer game today. He seems to be liking soccer more this year than in previous years. Isaac's just had his last fall soccer game last Thursday. I have been going to 3 soccer games a week for the past 4 weeks. Maycee and I are really good cheer leaders!

Brandon's Bobcat

Last week at Pack Meeting Brandon earned his Bobcat award. He was presented with the award and was very excited. As you can see from the pictures, Maycee felt like she needed to be included also. It is still strange that I have a son old enough to be in Scouts. He is really excited about scouts and I am so glad that he has such great leaders.

"Teasing"

Having two older brothers, Maycee has learned really well what teasing is. She is always telling one of her brothers to stop teasing her. Well, the other day we were driving home in the car and we were driving directly into the sun. Maycee was whinning about the sun in her eyes and then she said, "Mom, the sun is teasing me!" I started laughing and then she said, "Stupid sun!" I am pretty sure that Brandon and Isaac didn't know the word stupid when they were only 2 years old....the joys of having older brothers!

Maycee Dancing

Yes, I said dance! I have never posted anything about dance...always soccer, karate, basketball or something along those lines. Well today was Maycee's first day of dance class. Kevin's sister is her teacher and she gets to learn ballet and tumbling. She is so excited to wear her ballet shoes and "costume". She loves to go to aunt Ashley's house and watch herself in the big mirrors.

Isaac Soccer Fall 2010

Yesterday Isaac had his first soccer game. He loves soccer and has been waiting for this day since his last game in the spring. He has watched a lot of soccer, big brother and 2 uncles and so he understands the game pretty well. He scored a goal (I didn't see it...but he said he did...so we cheered!). Everytime he got the ball I got carried away at cheering and forgot to take pictures...oh well...here are a few of him in action.
